If your boyfriend had a skincare routine, would you think it's feminine?

My boyfriend told me he had a skincare routine. I'm not used to men participating it that because it's very feminine and I kind of got toxic by assuming he liked guys behind it. However I didn't expect him to get super defensive. I just feel like some things are for women and other things are for men. But I realized my wrongdoings and I'm still learning. I just wanna know would anyone else think it was a little weird? I honestly can't not see it as weird.
