My niece is 11 years old and my sister in law has been dealing wit this issue. She is self satisfying in school, so much it’s become an issue that teachers have had to address with my sister and brother in law. Is this normal for this age? I would think that a child this age would know that this is unacceptable in public, her parent have talked to her about this since she was little but she still does it. Maybe it’s something she does out of boredom and doesn’t realize it? I’m concerned she may have a real issue and need some kind of help.
