Anyone NOT get NT scan?

Question

I’m now almost 18 weeks. I had an ultrasound at almost 14 weeks and assumed I would have a NT scan then. The OB seeing me seemed rushed and said he just wanted to check for a heartbeat, and then I was good to go. We got a picture, but he did no measuring or looking at anything except for the heart. Is this normal?
We opted out of genetic testing, so sometimes my mind races. Lol.

After 13w+6, they won’t do an NT.  The NT measurement isn’t alone inficative of trisomies......it’s used in conjunction with your current HCG level and a few other things measured in the blood test to determine if there is a risk for Downs, Edwards, Turners, etc. 
And after the baby 14+ weeks, the data they have to compare it to isn’t relevant anymore, so it sounds like the window has been missed.
I had my NT scan yesterday at 13w+5, but the baby was measuring almost 15w (!) but bc she was so far along, they skipped the NT. We did NIPT and embryo PGS testing anyways so this wasn’t a huge concern for us.....but they said the next scan would be an anatomy scan at 19-20w.

I’ve never had one with my 3....this time I did do the nipt though since I’m over 35 with this pregnancy

Nt Evan was attempted but the baby was NOT COOPERATING, like seriously was doing somersaults and not letting the tech or dr see what they needed. Went back for 16 week appt and mentioned it and dr said he wasn’t too concerned. I’m trying not to stress over it. They did a quick sono anyways and baby is measuring perfect

I did have genetic testing (pre 14 week scan) and a lot of measurements were taken at 15 weeks but I don’t remember her repeating anything NT-ish or referring to that. Perhaps it wasn’t urgent as I was covered by the negative results of the genetic testing? I’d call your clinic and ask...

I had more ultrasounds than usual due to baby not cooperating the first time for measurements and then weird things showing up on the ultrasound lol.  I did opt for genetic testing to be safe, so they attempted to get measurements at 11 weeks but baby didn’t cooperate, so they rescheduled for week 12 and did all the measurements and blood testing.  At 15 weeks I was sent to a specialist to see what the abnormality was, nothing with baby, more with me.  All was cleared but she told me the anatomy scan would only be at 18-20 weeks as baby hadn’t developed enough at this time to measure.  From what I’ve heard, they do more measuring and testing at 18-20 week scan.

It should’ve been the other way around. Week 13 for me was just the heartbeat (about a 5min appointment). Week 19 I get the scan done. Don’t be afraid to speak up so they can answer your questions on spot.

We just had a quick one around 13 weeks and she took a quick scan over baby but didn't mention anything about that. We get our full anatomy scan at 20 or 21 weeks I think.
