Hi ladies. I know this post seems odd to say the least...

But I wanted to find out what your partners do as "fatherly duties"?

My husband will wash bottles every now on then. No nappies, no feeds, no playing, no bath or bed time..

He's currently at home as he is going to start studying soon so he's been home for a full month already.

If I ask him to hold our baby while I do something he gets uncomfortable and orders me to wash dishes or do anything as I am not doing any motherly duties.

I dont know what being a "normal" father is...

Am I over thinking things?

Thank you so much ladies, I cant explain what an eye opener this has been...

I showed him this post and he got extremely mad and said I'm comparing him to everyone else and didnt want to hear it. And he said that he does help with bath time and I'm a liar, so I do apologise for that. I meant the bath and bed routine.. I do everything and he will often wash her body while I do face and hair and then he goes back downstairs.

I'm currently waiting for him and his mom to get to the house to get yelled at as I told his mom that I do not appreciate how she was speaking to me because I asked him for MY money to get my baby food...

So that ended badly and will shortly be in the middle of a 3 against 1 arguement (him, his mom and brother)... last time this happened I was 6 months pregnant and got kicked out the house.. so we'll see what happens..

Again, I'm not stupid... I've just got ABSOLUTELY nowhere else to go... it's just us in the UK and my family and friends are in another country..
