How long does it take for tooth to come out?

Am seeing a white spot under his gum so I know he is teething. How long do I have to deal with the fussiness? Does he feel pain, do I give pain killers? When the tooth is out does it continue to hurt him until the tooth is fully out?

It depends on the child. My son didn’t get fussy till he had 2 or more teeth come in at the same time. Get one of those gum massagers for baby’s. It has 2 purposes, soothes baby’s gums and gets them used to “brushing” or having something in their mouth like a tooth brush. Also get a teething toy they can chew on. Medicine we only did at night so baby could sleep. You do want to make sure you can catch a temperature if they get one. Some of my sons teeth took a couple weeks to a couple months to pop thru. So be patient. I know it sucks but you’ll get thru it. We are dealing with 2 year old molars right now. 😣😭

If he is teething yes he feels pain, I would give him medicine to take the pain away, and the fussiness will go away once the pain is gone.. I think it only hurts until the tooth breaks the skin but I'm not 100% sure.

I didnt give my son any pain medication,  I did apple slices,  gum massage,  cold towels.
I dont like to give pain medication unless its neccessary.
