I’ve posted on here before about this but not a lot of people saw it. Long story short my brother has been living with me since October but doesn’t make enough to pay most of his rent, the utility bill, our internet bills, groceries or for any gas even tho I give him rides to and from work every day and take him wherever he wants. I asked him to pay for groceries today and he basically told me he’ll only buy shit for him not for the apartment. I told him I’m tired of paying for all his shit and him treating me like shit bc he always calls me names and screams at me, etc. he started the same shit today so I told him he needs to find somewhere to go, that I would give him a ride to our grandpas so he could stay there for awhile but he refused to even leave the apartment so I told him I’d call the cops if he didn’t. He still wouldn’t just kept mocking me and saying I’m on my period and I’m a stupid bitch so I called the non emergency line and they came and all of a sudden he started acting fine like I’m the crazy bitch. Asked to talk to the cops alone where I couldn’t hear and they went out, then another one came in to talk to me and I told him everything. He told me that there’s nothing they can do since he’s a minor (even tho I’m not his legal guardian) and that I just have to live with him. I’m just ready to give up. I’m exhausted. I have no idea what I’m supposed to do anymore my lease isn’t up until October and me and my roomate are the only ones on it.
