I have two kids. I wanna be available fir them for summer, sick  days, volunteering at school. I also would like to leave work at work and when off be focused on family time.

Based on what you want I would say neither....
Real estate agents have to work a lot of evenings and weekends and be very flexible with when to meet clients and show properties. 
Hair stylists can’t just cancel all your appointments for the whole day because your child woke up with a sore throat. They also tend to book appointments weeks and months in advance. Cancelling frequently will leave you with no loyal returning clients.

If you want summers off,  become a teacher. You can even start off being a substitute teacher as long as you have two years of college under your belt in most states. You will get summers and breaks throughout the year, as well as paid sick days. 
Now... you will likely have to grade and plan at home after they go to bed or some on the weekend, but you can choose when and how.

My mom was a school bus driver they follow the school year calendar and make decent money in my area  17-18$ per hr to start

My husbands a real estate agent. And while he can be flexible with his hours, he works extremely long days. He left at 8 this morning and it’s now 9pm and he won’t be home anytime soon. He also works ATLEAST one day during the weekend if not both. Also, summertime is the prime real estate market so you absolutely wouldn’t be able to take it off. My husband is 10x busier in the summer. Late nights every night and every weekend something going on. Winter is when things slow down, and they slow down so much that most agents have to get a second job during the winter in order to bring money in.

Hairstylists work a lot on weekends that’s when most clients can get their hair done but if you are a self employed you can pick your own hours
