Saying he's asexual after having sex with me??

So my boyfriend was a virgin before he met me.
He would be the one who initiates, making out and we always end up having sex. This happened the third time we had sex. He said, "Sex is overrated. Maybe I'm slightly asexual."
What does this mean??

Everyone is kind of making this about your sexual performance being maybe being less than stellar which is.....yikes. Maybe he sucks at sex and makes it boring. Or you guys might not be sexually compatible, and being that you are each other's first you are literally only have the one experience to compare to. 
I suggest maybe stop sleeping with him. If he is making those types of comments for whatever reason it means he has some stuff to sort out in his personal life and you should move on.

Sounds like maybe he doesn’t enjoy the sex... usually the first few times are boring or if he really isn’t interested then he may just be asexual

Spice it up maybe? Perhaps make it a little more fun for him so he enjoys it more? Ask him what he’d like to try? Or try everything? He was also a virgin so maybe he’s nervous. Or maybe he’s finding out that he is somewhat asexual. Who knows.
