Is it bad to push too hard while having bowel movement?

Constipation really does annoying. I just.. tried little hard while having bowel movement cuz of the discomfort I feel in my stomach. Nothing much coming out though (really sorry for tmi) but then I’m worried if pushing hard harm the baby or sth. I’m 14 weeks by the way.

You’re not going to hurt the baby, just give yourself terrible hemorrhoids. Drink a lot more water and up your fiber intake to help. Fruits and veggies are the main foods in my diet, haven’t had trouble with constipation except once
