Follow up poll- is your LO using consonants often?

When I say only a little I mean maybe you hear a b , d , m or other mixed in there but not often

No not really I’m getting kind of worried. Mostly she screams happily or its aaaaa sounds. Sometimes I hear her quietly babbling and blowing raspberries and thing I her some b or mmm sounds but I don’t know.

My baby does a ton of consonant sounds (it almost sounds like she’s really talking but there are no actual words). 
However she has zero interest in trying to crawl, lol. I think babies tend to work on one thing at a time, if your baby isn’t making consonant sounds they’re probably focused on pulling to stand or crawling or something! 
As long as you see your baby developing new skills, don’t worry. All the guidelines are averages, that means some babies will reach those milestones later and some earlier.

my boy does ba, bwah, da, drah, ma, mum, bum, fff, ssshh, and puh.
recently his favourite sound is a loud quick OH! sound 😂

Lots of b and m and maybe a handful of ds. But it sounds like he says mom/ma/mama and yeah 😂

I get lots of mmm and mom. Occasional dada. She babbles conversations to her stuffed animals, in which I've heard quiet I love you to them!  Sometimes she still says hungry. She used to say it a lot between 2-4 months, it really was my cue to feed! Around the same time she said hi and I love you. But not so much anymore. Now its mom.
