If it’s unbearable and OTC meds aren’t working then you should be seen. But if you haven’t tried OTC things then no. I would start there and try to find relief

Try alternating Tylenol/Ibuprofen and using a hot rice sock on your neck see if that helps.... if none of that works then I’d see your dr.
