Hi all! Reaching out to hear about your experience with your <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> scheduling and insurance. I’m super frustrated with my clinic and I’m just looking to see if this is normal.

I recently found out that we need to do <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> and things seemed to move pretty quickly from there. We took our clinic’s prep class, was given our protocol info and then signed our consent forms. But then there was nothing, I was told to call the nurses on the first day of my period and was given no other info from the doctor. I felt like the last appointment with my doctor was rushed and I had no idea what to expect next.

When I called last week about my period the nurse said she would get my calendar made and have it back to me by the end of the day. About 10 minutes later, she called back saying that my blood work showed that I didn’t have a current Rubella vaccine and that my cycle would be delayed 30 days from the time I got the vaccine. She apologized for no one having called about this earlier. Later that day, I got the vaccine and called back to inform them. Since my cycle was starting with 3 weeks of bcp anyway, they said we could move forward this month and I was giving a calendar.

Yesterday (Monday) I called my insurance company to see if the <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> cycle had been authorized yet, and was told that it had been denied on Friday and that the clinic would have the info and have 10 days to appeal the decision. I called my clinic and left a message for the insurance coordinator yesterday afternoon and haven’t heard back. I’ve just called again this afternoon.

I feel like there’s been a lack of communication from the beginning and I’m seriously frustrated. I don’t think it’s normal, but I’m worried that I’m overreacting because this is a difficult time.

Can anyone share their experiences with me? Better or worse, I’d just like some info!
