Transitioning to SNOO at 6 weeks?

Well, my husband and I have reached the point of desperation from sleep deprivation that we have decided to buy a used SNOO for $750 (new price is $1300). Our baby is 6 weeks old. Curious if anyone has experience transitioning their baby to a SNOO at around this age? I read that when babies are 6-8 weeks old, it may take several days for them to get used to the SNOO. Any input would be much appreciated! Our baby has been sleeping in the Halo Bassinest since birth. He does ok in it (doesn’t refuse to be in it) but he doesn’t sleep for very long at all without fussy. Definitely has a preference to sleep in the dock a tot or in our arms - neither of which we can do for overnight sleep.

No tips about transitioning at that age but we have a SNOO that we have been using since day 1 and it has been worth the money. My baby is 7 weeks old and sleeps 5-6 hour stretches at night. You can request to speak to a sleep consultant through SNOO that can give some tips and help adjust the settings on the SNOO. We currently are doing the rice and towel trick that they recommend (you can google it for pictures and instructions). They say it helps if your baby likes to be held while sleeping. They also suggested that I make some adjustments on the app as far as settings. I also have an extra white noise machine going and keep the room super dark. Good luck!

No advice for the snoo but definitely look into taking Cara babies course. Really has made a huge difference in his sleep for us

We rented ours about 1.5 weeks ago and our baby girl is 4.5 weeks and has been sleeping pretty well in it. Before we were just using a bassinet. She still wakes up every 2.5-3 hrs but both my husband and I are getting much more solid sleep hours in before we had the snoo. Eventually I’ve heard from others as they weeks go by and  she’s able to eat more the sleep hours will also increase. Def worth the money. I like that we can also track her sleep patterns as well. I think you’re little one will do just fine!
