Has anyone tried castor oil ?

I’ve heard if you take 4 tablespoons of castor oil you can go into labor or it kicks off labor has anyone else tried it ?

Yeah but did you hear the part where the castor oil irritates your bowels and makes you shit your brains out? And it can possibly make baby poop inside as well and possibly get sick or worse- die. Not worth the risks.

Its not worth the risk of if not killing you then killing your baby..let it happen naturally...

Don't do it .. try walking , sex , exercise etc .

I tried 2 tablespoons with the okay from my midwife and at first I got kind of nauseous then 4 hours after taking it it just gave me horrible contractions for 6 hours but was not dilating me any further I only went poo once but had no problem with dehydration I had baby monitored for 2 hours during contractions and 20 minutes the next day and he was fine I don’t think I would try 4 tablespoons but it’s your baby and body maybe start small

It can be very risky, talk to your doctor, but most importantly if you are going to do it then you need to stay very hydrated and monitor yourself closely. I've heard of many having success, but also many horror stories, so be careful, but it's your decision to make
