Anyone else’s baby grind their teeth?

How do I stop it? 😫😫

Mine does it sometimes and I try to distract him immediately when it starts. Like showing him something or pointing somewhere with a finger. Usually it works and he forgets about it.

My daughter has always done it in her sleep... she’s 6.5 now and still does. It grossed me out but I’m not fighting her every night to get her to wear a mouth guard so 🤷🏻‍♀️ her teeth are fine (shes got 6 adult teeth already)

My son used to do this & it was terrible. Gahh the sound made me cringe! I asked my dentist & they said sometimes they do it as a comfort thing & sometimes it’s cause they’re teething. My son stopped doing it when his molars came through.

I asked my health visitor about this and apparently they do it when they’re teething, something about their teeth pushing against the gums to stimulate tooth eruption
