What would you ladies do? I currently have a 20 week old. My SO got into a fight with a guy during the Super Bowl and punched a guy. The guy tried hitting him first and missed. The guy then called the police on him since my SO hit him.

He went to court and they want to give him a minimum of 6 years, 13 maximum due to assault & battery...all because of a sprained nose.

My SO did have trouble with the law when we first started dating 8 years ago. He’s been good for the past few years, but due to his history they want to give him 6 years. He hasn’t gotten in trouble in years. He’s been working full time for the past 2 years. He’s worked before but we moved away from friends & family so he’s working even harder. Since I was 4 months pregnant he’s been taking care of me and my son; which allowed me to be a stay at home mom.

My heart is completely broken for our son.
