Vacation spots in SE USA!?

So, my husband and I would like to take a trip this August with our four year old. I will finish my degree at the very end of July, so this will be a celebration trip, as well as our last vacation as a family of 3. I’ll be around 27-29 weeks pregnant for the time that we’re looking at going.

We live in Georgia, and would like to keep it somewhere in Georgia or surrounding states. We only live two hours from Savannah and the beaches in georgia, plus we went there last year for a weekend trip.

Any ideas? I’m trying to come up with something that I haven’t thought of. We are open to a beach, but also like the idea of doing something a little different!
