Where should baby sleep?

Hello, I purchased a crib for my little one that’s due in July. But I was wondering do I need to also purchase a bedside sleeper. Or is crib always the best place for baby. I do not won’t the baby co sleeping in our bed because my fiancé is a wild sleeper. I saw online that there are some baby sleepers that go in the parents bed. Any moms out there that can offer some advice to this first time mom I’d greatly appreciate it thank you.
