Signs you should change formulas?

I am currently feeding my baby similac pro sensitive since birth he drank that kind but in liquid form at the hospital he never had any problems but I am now using powder formula because I was spend 60$ + a week and powder is 60 still but for two weeks I have noticed him a little more fussier so I’m wondering if it could possibly be the new formula I’m giving him ? Or is it a growth spurt bc he’s also sleeping a little more now too

Try adding gas drops to the bottle. It could be the mixing process and the bubbles upsetting his tummy!

Depends how old he is. Could be a leap. There is one around 12 weeks so if he’s around that age that could be the reasoning. For us we switched our daughters formula because she was so cranky. Always crying. So gassy. She just was miserable a lot. I assumed it was colic for the first few weeks and I don’t know, maybe it was. But after 6 weeks of her still acting that way we decided to switch her to similac total comfort (she was doing similac advanced). The sensitive says it’s for lactose intolerance and since we didn’t suspect that to be an issue we went with the total comfort because that made for fussiness and gassiness. We switched her at 6 weeks (which was also right when she started daycare). She was much better but then we weren’t sure if it was definitely the formula or if it was just because she was older at that point and also had a lot more attention all day everyday. We ended up attempted half and half bottles (2 oz of the advanced and 2 oz of the total comfort ) because we got a ton of those premixed bottles prior to us switching her and we wanted to try and use them. Well 2 days into it she was a miserable little thing again.  We immediately switched her back to just full on total comfort and she’s been a much better baby again since. Sometimes it’s trial and error unfortunately. But again there is a leap around 12 weeks which can cause fussiness and can cause their sleep patterns to change.
