Hand expressing with large brests?

How do you do it? I need to get out more than my pump can, but I need two hands with the size, and my stream goes all over the place. Just want to actually empty my breasts for once. I'm even using a medela symphony to get a large amount out.

Lol I just sketched what I did personally. I leaned my head on the couch and held myself over a bowl and legit milked myself like a cow 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ lol very humbling but I ended up getting mastitis and was willing to try anything to prevent it from happening again. Modified the dangle feed technique which significantly helped relieve the clogged duct I had too. Plus antibiotics obviously.

The midwife told me to do it in the shower. Mine stayed rock hard and yet I could never get anything with a pump. The heat from the water and hand expressing was a life saver. The first time my husband even had to help it was so bad. I did it a bit every day in the beginning. I hated to waste it but it was the only way for me and my massive rock hard boobs.

I second the massaging while pumping. I also use a manual pump, which I find drains me more efficiently.

I find it easiest to massage my breast while pumping. I use almost hand expressing while pumping. Pumping alone doesn't empty my breast enough.

I have to massage while pumping. I also kind of squeeze and hold for a bit and the milk starts flowing better. I have to move around to different spots and squeeze. I also only pump one side at a time because I can’t handle doing both at the same time.

You just gotta kinda milk yourself lol you’ll never fully empty your breast maybe try talking to a lactation specialist that’s what I did. They give really good advice & good ideas they also show you how to “milk” yourself lol
