IUI advice!! Please!
I’m doing hybrid
cycles which means I do Letrozole for 5 days and then start Gonal F for a few days. This is my third cycle, the other two were cancelled because I ended up ovulating on my own before scheduled trigger shit. So I took my last dose of Gonal F the 21st, Friday night. I was supposed to trigger Saturday night, the 22nd, for a late morning
IUI
on Monday. Well Saturday, the 22nd, around 5 pm, My opk went positive, so I didn’t do the trigger shot. Mainly because I was told if your body is already starting ovulation, the trigger isn’t needed or won’t do anything. On Sunday I began having ovulation pains all afternoon, I’m 99% I ovulated late on that Sunday, 23th or early morning on the 24th. We did our
IUI
on the 24th at 1130 a.m. Wasnt that too late? Has anyone done an IUI 48 hours after a positive opk? Should I have done the trigger? Just want advice because my cycle will fall exactly the same this month, with my usual ovulation day(Cycle Day 14) being on a Sunday. Which means I will probably “Peak” again on Saturday night.
