I currently make $20.23/hr. I have a certificate through a college and state licensing. Minimum wage here is $8.46/hr, so I’m doing well.

my main job is freelance ux/ui and graphic design. i charge a minimum of $5k per project, which usually takes me 2-6 weeks. i have constant work due to the industry i chose and connections i've made. i started when i was 12 and worked my way up to charging the amount i do now. i mostly do logos, ads, and software. on the weekends i work part-time in corporate sales making $20.60/hr. i mostly just talk to customers all day tbh. not much to do at that job, but it's okay pay and takes up enough time so i'm not fiddling my thumbs. i'm still in uni, majoring in business administration. 
my bf makes $40/hr as a software engineering intern. he's a full stack developer though. idk much about his responsibilities but at times he has to work overtime.

I make $40,000 as a full time teacher. I made $23,000 after 8 years in the full time teaching position at my last job. We were supposed to be demanding teachers in my state when I graduated HS because the baby boomers were retiring but then population decline happened big time and they just quit replacing them, made classes bigger, and it took years to find a decent paying job to use my degree I spent a ton of money on. I love my job now but there were many times I wished I had just gone to community college for medical coding or even taken a radiology program.

I’m not really sure what my hourly rate is. I work a regular M-F 8-5pm job and make a little over $150,000 a year plus bonus. My title is Senior Director and I am consultant advising companies on strategic communications, mostly related to health. I have a Master’s Degree in public heath.

I made $80k in 2019 but my partner and I took about 3 months off

I'm a chemical operator and currently make $23/hr in tennessee with the top out being $30 an hour. My taxes were right at 55k last year. My responsibilities are varied but I am trained in handling hazardous chemicals such as hydrochloric acid, hydrogen, natural gas, chlorosilanes, and caustic, hydrogen peroxide, etc. We use all of those chemicals in a continuous industrial process to make our silicones product. Were responsible for maintaining a stable system and responding to chemical emergencies. I LOVE MY JOB.

I work in marketing for a local agency. Got my foot in the door as a college intern and worked my way up. I do copywriting, social media marketing and videography. I make $55k/year before taxes and benefits. I live in an area with a higher cost of housing than most of the US but because my husband and I are both full-time we own a home and live comfortably. We are not the norm - my husband did not attend college and worked his way up in the same industry I am in and he makes more money per year than me as well. Just proves college isn’t everything!

I’m a pediatric OT and make 70,000 a year as a new graduate. This is in a small town in Oregon. I could be making at least 95,000 working the same job in California. Masters degree is required in US for this career, but not in other countries. I’ve worked the same job in Uganda and made a local salary of $90/month. Location means everything 😜

I make $16/hr as a Medical Biller. I just finished my school certification and currently hold my national credential (though I’m working getting out of apprenticeship status). I work for a Cardiology Clinic in Texas. I’m a single mom, so I’m still struggling to make ends meet, but that’s only because I’m going back to school for my Associates degree and paying out of pocket.
