Not eating much at daycare

My son has been in daycare 4 days now and he hasnt really been eating much there. I fed him this morning at 5am and tried to feed him at 730 just before we left so they wouldnt have to feed him right away whenever everyone else was dropping off and he wouldnt eat but I figured it was too early oh well. Then I find out he didnt eat again til 130! My husband said he is acting fine I'm still at work but it makes me so sad... was he hungry and sad or just too distracted to eat? He said they did try to feed him but he just kept chewing on bottle or spitting it out... normal adjustment to daycare??
