I had my 38 week appt today, she checked my cervix, said it’s very soft and can feel my mucus plug really loose and that I’m 2cm. She said it’s good and progressing well. (I’m 38+5) and when she left, I went to go put my pants on but a bunch of blood came out. We called her back in and she said it’s normal but if it continues or gets worse, go to labor and delivery. My appt was at 1:20 and it’s now 3:34, I felt big gushes on the way to Walmart so I went to the bathroom and my underwear and leggings is absolutely filled with blood, to where I can wipe with my leggings on and a bunch of blood come on the toilet paper and this was also in my underwear. It’s my mucus plug right?

Should I go to labor and delivery? Each time I wiped, more blood came out. And my vagina literally hurts like when you’re on your period. Cramping a little but not too bad.
