Is cramping normal after at home insemination?

Is it your first cycle ttc? 
I had terrible cramps the first cycle with ttc my daughter, and first cycle back ttc #2.
I think it’s just my body’s reaction to foreign substance aka sperm 😂
Less cramping this month after AI (2nd month ttc #2)

I did my first one Wednesday and was cramping as well I found it to be very strange because when I would have sex I wouldn’t have any of those feelings and this is just adding live sperm so I don’t know if it’s my tubes waking up because I haven’t had a baby in so long or what was going on, but it was very uncomfortable for the first couple of days ￼
