Itchy rash, worried daughter
My daughter 14, has been helping some elderly neighbours clean and sort their house. They are in a crisis situation and she wants to help. She has developed a raised itchy rash mostly across and down her back, neck and Shoulders and I assume her chest, a little bit on her legs. she says the past few weeks she has been very itchy in bed at night almost like tiny pin picks. She hasn't slept well. Her hands are also red like a excema rash. Last week me and the other three children went with her to the neighbours house to help as such lot needs done, it was very dirty and dusty with many things. She is becoming discouraged about how long it's taking her, she is very concerned about these people too, They obviously have unmet care needs, but there is only so much I or my daughter can do. Her rash seems to be worse since our last visit, having seen the environment she's been trying to clean I am worried its related. My back, chest and wrists now have a spotty intensely itchy rash also, my older sons arms and face are itchy and spotty and my youngest is scratching at her stomach and my younger son has some similar spots on his shoulder. My husband was itchy in bed last night, he wasn't at the house we were cleaning, but last night he was itchy. Now it might be unrelated, or a dust allergy since the elderly people's house had not been cleaned in years,(that would not explain my husband, but it could be psychosomatic for him or his normal excema) do you think we could have brought something back, house dust mites? I can't see any evidence of fleas or bed bugs, but not sure what I am looking for? All the kids already had chicken pocs, and have been vaccinated for most other things you get vaccinations for.
Any idea what could be?
