How do you know?

How do you know the difference between your waters leaking and just increased discharge? Would I just know? I’m so scared of overlooking my discharge. I wear panty liners during pregnant cause I seem to always feel wet if not, so it’s hard to tell if the discharge is watery or not.

My ob described fluid leak as being enough quantity you feel like youre peeing yourself.  When my water started leaking with my first it was very much like that.  Enough that just a pant liner wasnt cutting it and it wasnt a gradual accumulation like discharge it was like a small 'gush' i guess.

Feels like your peeing yourself and you can't stop it with flexing and contracting  like holding in your pee it just keeps coming either in a trickle or gushes

Trust me you'll know. When my water broke I thought I peed myself and had no control over it
