Hello, I went in to have an early ultrasound at 5 weeks 1 day bc I started having a lot of pain on my left side suddenly. The cramping ended up being fine, from a cyst in the ovary. But the shape of the gestational sac is not round like it’s suppose to be. It’s more tear drop, or oblong shaped. The doctor said he wasn’t quit sure what to think of it and it could lead to miscarriage..could be fine. So it’s obviously left me pretty distraught and everything I’ve read online is not good. Has anyone had this in past pregnancies and it turned out fine?
