In the 6 week range and super confused. Helllpppppppppp!!!

Long story already; have been spotting since February 27th, march 3rd I went into ER as my spotting turned red and was a bit heavier... ER said HCG was 13,000 something, babys heart rate was 107 and measured at 5 weeks 6 days. Pelvic exam found no blood and closed cervix!

On way home I gushed blood enough to soak pants. OB doc over phone said sounds like miscarriage :/ repeated hcg 3/5 expecting dropping numbers but nope they went up alot! Repeat hcg today showed higher numbers but this time they did not double.... i am still experiencing very light spotting that's only there when I wipe.

Im confused and dont know if we are ok or not!? Did anyone else have numbers that went up like this? And if so what happened? Was everything ok? We have ultrasound scheduled with OB Thursday and since its the weekend I wont speak with my OB until monday.
