Vacation?

Thinking of taking baby on vacation. Probably somewhere a 2-5 hour flight away. Somewhere warm for a week. Is she too young? I feel like it might be stressful lol

It might be stressful, but definitely not too young. We will be taking our baby on a 3hr flight in June (she will be 9mos) and I’m already stressing about it lol I just hope she doesn’t cry the entire flight..

I would be cautious about going to the airport/being on a plane with the coronavirus right now. I know babies don’t seem to be affected as badly as others, but what if you get it? 
Other than that, I have friends who have travelled with their babies before- just make sure you are overly prepared. Extra diapers, food, etc.

Have already taken 12 flights 😱 bring antibacterial wipes, hand sanitizer, wash your hands often and bring your own water and snacks. Baby breastfeeds and nursed up and down as well as during long flights. He did very well.

Took my baby to Las Terrenas in the Dominican Republic at 3 months. Best thing we did was getting him his own seat. The condo was right on the beach with bar restaurants walking distance. Check out Playa Bonita Residences.

We are taking our newly 6 month old to Florida for a week this month. I personally don’t think they’re too young. A baby is another part of your family and you should include them in your experiences. Just have a plan, and remember there are stores for anything you forget!

We canceled our trip to Cabo San Lucas Mexico today. Just four hours before the flight. I woke up with a slight fever and then we freaked out because we didn’t wanna be put in quarantine or something. I think it was the right decision. Even if there was 1% chance that any one of us could be sick, we didn’t wanna take that chance. Luckily the airlines gave full refund.

We’ve already done 2 round trip flights with ours! Her first flight was at like 9 weeks old. Your little def isn’t too young. Just be sure to bring wipes and wipe everything down, bring toys to entertain and I nursed on the way up & down (supposed to help pop their ears)
