I’d rather not have a baby shower, never wanted one or anything. I let my mother know because she wants to plan it with my cousin. I tired to explain to her that we have purchased 85% of what needs I’m due July 8th. Baby nursery is complete only thing I need is a baby monitor and a carrier for my chest. I don’t understand the problem. Even before pregnancy I always knew I didn’t want a baby shower. She feels I need to have one for the family. I’ve never been a fan of baby showers I really rather not have one but now she is making me feel like I’m being selfish when that’s not at all what I’m doing. This is my first baby. What do you ladies think should I just give in or stand my ground.
