Mixed messages about the coronavirus

I'm really starting to wonder if I should stock up on water and supplies Just in case there a quarantine. They're already shutting down schools in my area for a week. And yes I know a lot of you are going to say it's like the flu but we've never had this kind of strain of flu before! It's highly contagious and the reason why other countries are quarantining everybody is so the older population does not get sick and die. 19 people have already died in the US and they're not even testing everybody yet! So my theory is in the next two weeks there's going to be a huge outbreak and their numbers are going to be super high and people are going to start getting really scared and start shutting down everything.
