Uterine niche

So I had a C-secrion about 17 months ago. As I am breastfeeding, I only had my first period when my daughter was almost 11 months. When it started I had spotting throughout my cicle, so I went to see my ob/gyn and turns out I have a uterine niche or istomecele (a defect in my C-section scar). This condition can lead to difficulty in getting pregnant again.

Has anyone have this similar situation? Did you get pregnant afterwards? I really nee some input in the subject.
