Potato salad?!

Is home made potato salad okay to eat while pregnant? It’s mustard based not mayo, potatoes and eggs. I know store bought is iffy

As long as your eggs are thoroughly cooked, it’s fine. So enjoy!

Yes. And you can use store bought mayo, that isn't a problem at all. The issue with mayo is a) some restaurants make it home made with unpasteurized raw eggs and b) at places like a BBQ,  picnic etc the mayo can spoil easily if not kept cold enough. Otherwise, you're fine to eat main brands of mayo!

Yup homemade is good. A family member made some for my baby shower this weekend and I was sooooo happy. I’m not comfortable buying premade stuff right now. Mayo is fine too as long as it’s store bought like helmans, it’s pasteurized
