I’m trying to help my friend. I honestly don’t know what to say mostly because I can’t relate & I don’t know how to explain it in a way she would grasp.

She’s married 8 years to her husband who is active in our church. They’re a great couple lots look up to. They have 2 kids & plan on having a very large family.

She confided in me & told me she was lusting after her friends husband. Another man who is active in the church. He is very outgoing & friendly, I guess she misinterpreted his interactions with her. She said whenever he passed by her & said hello she would feel something. He made a joke to her about a restaurant he found out she likes, her husband told him. Her husbands hates this place & his wife hates this place, so he jokingly (in front of both spouses) said well then we can go without them. Everyone laughed. I guess she took it to heart.

How would you explain to her that this is wrong? I don’t believe she plans on acting on these feelings but you just never know!
