Membrane Sweep Stories?!

I just left my midwifes office and I had my membranes swept at 40 weeks exactly. Whew that was an interesting pain lol... 
ANYWAYS 😂
I want to know if any of you had yours done, how did it go? Did it work? Did it not work? If so how soon after did you go into labor?

Had it done at 5, chased around my nieces for 2 hours, went grocery shopping, bounced on my ball, first contraction started at 8 PM, was in active labor by 8 AM

Had mine swept last week right at 39 weeks. I had a lot of inconsistent contractions, lost big chunks of mucus plug, but am still pregnant and due in 2 days, so it didn't work for me. Lol I'm going to see about a second one at my appointment wednesday and possibly schedule an induction just in case it doesn't work again.

Had it done with both of mine and both times went into labour 3 days later...however I dont actually believe it sends you into labour more helps get it started if you were ready to anyway 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had mine done at my app about 12 and went into labor at 1 am then.

I had 2 done, at 40w, then 41w, I was 1cm dilated from 37w & nothing, didn’t even dilate more 😩. Ended up being induced, which ended up taking 3 days, he just wanted to stay in there apparently lol.

When I got mine done, I went for a decent walk after and I went into labor 9 hours later.

Have an orgasm, go for a brisk walk, have a really spicy dish for dinner.
