Tips for 2 kids?

We had our second baby on 3/3 and I'm having a rough transition. I had a c section so I can't do much with my son and I'm really struggling. He's been the center of my universe for 3 years. Those of you who already have 2, does it get easier? (Please say yes lol)

Congratulations! They are so beautiful. My second was born in September and it definitely gets easier. Soon it will be just normal to you and your first born. I definitely felt bad for my first born when my second was born. She started gravitating much more towards her dad and I felt like chopped liver to her but that’s totally no longer the case. 
One thing I would do is sometimes when the baby was crying, I would say “just a minute baby, I’m helping Georgia right now” so the older one would hear that sometimes the baby has to wait. I would allow the older one to feel like a baby sometimes. She would act like a baby and I would indulge it briefly. Tell the baby how lucky it is to have such a sweet older sibling. Stuff like that. It’s definitely hard at first but you will find your feet! Here’s my cute squad.

I felt a lot of guilt early on when I wasn't physically able to get down on the floor to play with my son and feeding the baby took so much of my time. He also acted out for a while. I think it really started improving around the 2 month mark and now we're almost 5 months in and we've found our new normal.
I agree with putting the 3 year old first sometimes. Also letting the big kid help doing things for baby, they love being helpful.
Also, hand sanitizer if you can find it, heh. My 3 year old started nursery school a month before baby was born and we clean his hands a lot before we let him touch baby. Especially when he has a messy nose cold. Of course we still all got the flu 2 weeks ago, so just be prepared for baby #2 to get sick a lot more than the first one did.

Yes! It gets easier. My second born will be one in a month and I can’t imagine my family without her. The first few months are tough but soon it will be a new norm.
