Has anyone been diagnosed with gestational diabetes?

I went to my midwife last week to get my results and she said I only just passed the test. Today I had a call from the head midwife apologising and said they accidentally read the results wrong and it turns out I do have gestational diabetes. She told me I should receive a call from the diabetes foundation telling me the next steps.

I’m so upset and have no idea what any of this means or the process. Has anyone been through this and can tell me what to expect? 😢
