Or do we waste a lot of diapers in the first week as a first time parent. Like little boys don’t play. Mommy learned to have a wash cloth to cover that pp with and oh POINTING IT DOWN DOWN unless you want a peed up baby lol. Oh well rather waste them and learn

You don’t have to use a wash cloth just use the other diaper. Look, I have the clean one under the dirty one while I’m wiping him then if he decides to start peeing on me lol I just quickly cover it then I take the dirty one out & already have the clean new one ready then boom boom bam! No pee everywhere & it’s also a quicker diaper change!

We have an 11 week old baby girl. We still go through a few 2 for diaper changing specials! She'll pee on the dirty diaper and still get it on the clean one underneath. She saves the fun poop ones for daddy! He'll get her all clean and go to put cream on her but and she will start popping again, sometimes again with the next diaper. Baby girl is EBF and poops multiple times a day so its extra annoying when it happens just for daddy.
