Should I tell people what my daughter needs for Easter or let them buy stuff on their own?

I’m worried I will get a bunch of stuff my daughter doesn’t need and have no room for it.  I’m in a 1 bedroom apartment. She really needs clothes 6-9 months. Should I tell everyone that?

I've never heard of people buying Easter gifts for anyone other than their own children. And I've never heard of people buying anything other than candy, cards, and toys. But in any case, I don't think Easter is the time to tell people what to buy for your children

Hopefully they ask you and then of course feel free to tell them! If they don’t ask though I wouldn’t. For example, my grandmother asked me what size he was wearing now and so I told her what size...and could have easily said what he specifically does or doesn’t need.

I didn't know people bought Easter gifts for other people's kids, I guess unless it's grandparents.

Let them buy stuff on their own. That’s half the fun of giving gifts, it’s something they want to give. Someone may have a beautiful idea of a gift to give, like an engraved something, but you say clothes so you miss out on something memorable. And asking what you need just sounds a little tacky, obviously if they ask then yeah say clothes. But gifts aren’t a given on Easter and some people may not be planning on buying gifts and you blindside them by asking for gifts.....

My daughter has too much clothes, so when my MIL said she was doing easter baskets i said "no more clothes" and i suggested teethers that are easy to hold.

I’ve brought my daughter a jelly cat bunny and jelly cat bunny slippers. My mum will probably buy her an egg cup and spoon. And her “glampa” will probably get her hair bows... like ALWAYS 😂 I’d never expect anyone to buy her anything but maybe her grandparents? Even then I wouldn’t think anything of it if they didn’t :)
