Is your toddler going to preschool or starting this year?

I dont know if i should send him to school this year or wait until next year since he will be still 3 when school starts

My daughter is starting an early start program this year simply because she seems ready and excited. She can’t start preschool yet because her birthday isn’t until the end of October, so she’d end up starting kinder a couple months before she turns 6😒

My daughter starts head start in August; we’ll she’s suppose to now I’m not so sure because of COVID-19.
She is able to start because she will turn 4 in October so as long as she turns 4 in the school year then she can go

I won’t be sending my son to preschool at all. But we will also be homeschooling when he’s old enough.

We will be starting preschool this fall with the intention of sending her to kindergarten the following year. With our district we have the choice to start kindergarten at 4 or 5 for fall birthdays. We figured we will see how she's doing in preschool before making that decision.

He missed the oct 1st cut off so he has to wait til sept 2020 :( he is so ready talks about it all the time!

My son is in ps3 this year and he will do a year of ps4. We miss the cut off for kindergarten (and even if he was a August or September baby I would hold him) and our preschool has a special class called ps5 for kids turning 5 in August/sept/oct/nov that won’t be in kindergarten until the following year.
So technically he will be in ps for 3 years. 
He’s doing great and just learned to write his name, which is Michael and not the easiest to write.

My son goes to a special 3K program for 2 hours 5 days a week through the school to help with his speech delay.

My daughter is in a preschool program. She goes three days per week and will go for 3 years. She could start kindergarten at 4 but I want to keep her back a year.

We started this year, just 2 mornings a week. It was 100% a great decision for her! Her social skills have come so so far and she loves it! She has also become so much better at doing things for herself-they really encourage the kids to be independent.  Next fall she’ll go up to 3 mornings a week.
