Best nappy cream for newborns?

My 2 week old baby has started to go a little red on her bum 😟 best nappy cream? Thanks x

Metainium I found was a god send. The white tube is good for everyday use and the yellow is great for a really sore bum. It goes a long way and creates a good barrier on babies bum. 😊 other like bepanthenem is god for just everyday use but I found it did little for nappy rash.

I used vaseline petroleum jelly for my sons red bits. So if all else fails try that. Sudocrem grey tub too. I tried that metanium yellow tube but  didnt work so used the vaseline and that worked wonders.

Bepantham always worked well on my daughter.
Important thing to remember is make sure you apply thin layer that's rubbed in well.
If you find your little one keeps getting a rash you might want to change the brand of nappies or wipes you use, my daughter always got sore from pampers nappies but I never had a problem with any super market own brand ones.

You need to use weleda nappy cream. I only found it when my girl was older and I wished someone had told me sooner. It’s full of lots of natural ingredients and it’s so good for their skin. I used metanium before that and it actually dried her skin out so it peeled off in spots and was raw underneath :(

Metanium for when the rash is already there, its amazing stuff. Bepanthen is a barrier cream so is a preventative measure rather than a treatment.
