I usually do not have heavy periods. I have semi-heavy flow for first day and wear regular tampons for the first 3 days and then usually can wear light for the last 2 days. Mine usually last 4-5 days total. This time, I have had very bad cramps and back pain (this happens often with my regular periods), but it’s accompanied with VERY heavy bleeding and clotting, which I never have. I usually don’t bleed much at night but bled through a pad each night. Every day I have had to change my tampon almost every hour or two. Could this be a sign of miscarriage? I’m on day 4, and usually bleeding begins to taper off by now. Thanks!
