Postponing shots?

I don’t know about everyone else but personally i am trying to limit myself around people & the baby with this virus.
Her 4 month shots are due in 2 weeks and my pediatrician is in the same building as an urgent care. I want to reschedule.
Is it ok to postpone shots?

I totally get what you’re saying/ how you are feeling. Regardless of your opinions on the coronavirus it is another thing to think and worry about right now. 
I went because shots protect baby from other things to worry about 😂 your doctor knowing baby is fragile will make the appointment fast I assume and have you In and out. If you can check in ahead of time from your phone do that. Don’t touch anything and head home for a warm bath after! You will be good :)

Don't postpone. It's important to keep to the vaccine schedule to protect your baby from other illnesses. If anything, the coronavirus will just get more common over the next few weeks so it's better to go now then wait and be way behind on the shots.

My doctors office canceled our wellness appointment with vaccines until everything calms down, it’s definitely ok to delay their vaccinations as long as you don’t use a daycare or facility that requires them to be “up to date”

Are there known cases of the virus in your area? 
I took my bub yesterday to get his shots, my drs office had hand  sanitiser at the door with a sign asking everyone to use it. Just sit away from people if youre worried, honnestly though im not worried about the virus, healthy people can easily fight it off,

Call your ped to see what they advise. Our pediatrician schedules all babies under 6 months as his first appointment of the day to get them in and out quickly. I’m in agreement with the other moms, though that I would not postpone your 4 month shots.

I understand but the shots are far more important and what they protect your child from they are FAR .ore likely to get than the coronavirus

We still got shots Tuesday. Our ped is very very good about calling babies as soon as they come in. 
She washes her hands when entering the room. 
Our offices even have a well area and a sick area too. So it’s nice. I personally felt like I needed to get them before this outbreak gets worse. It will only get worse before it gets better

I wouldn’t postpone if you don’t have to. Unless there are many confirmed cases in your immediate area, I wouldn’t be concerned at all about corona. The flu is far more contagious and far more dangerous to both you and your LO unless you have immune issues.

My urgent care is literally across the hall from my drs office. Not worried at all. Flu and rsv numbers are MUCH higher than covid. Just keep baby distanced at covered.
