Why does my milk do this in the fridge?

I just pumped this yesterday and put it in the fridge.. there’s like a ring that’s stuck to the side of the bottle now. i thought it was good for up to 3 days? Is it ok to give my baby still? I never breastfed or pumped for my first so I’m new to all this. Also having some supply issues so she’s getting breast milk and formula. Thanks ladies❤️

Its just the fat in your milk separating. Give it a few gentle swirls and it should mix in fine.  Yes it’s fine to feed your baby.

Like everyone else has said, it's the fat separating from the rest of the milk. Perfectly normal. If it doesn't come off when you swirl it, run it under hot water for a few seconds and it should melt enough to swirl the milk and have it come off.

I find that if you heat it in that bottle it mixes better than trying to make it go back together when it’s cold. Put the bottle into a bowl with some hot wAter in it- always works for us
