Anyone else’s city losing their shit over coronavirus?

I live in Ontario, Canada and the government just announced they are closing schools for three weeks to try to stop the spread. Every grocery store is out of toilet paper and water. Canned food is running low. Prices have been increased to astronomical levels. Everyone has a cart stacked as high as they can get it. People are getting into fights in the middle of the grocery store. It appears that the world is ending.

Yep. I'm in Utah, USA. And the last 2 weeks have been nuts. The stores or here can't keep up with the demand. People are stockpiling for no reason. It's so annoying!

Ya I’m across the river from Ottawa in Quebec...Schools still open tomorrow but we’ll see about next week. I work from home anyway, but my SO works in Ottawa and he’ll probably be forced to work from home next week. It’s kinda ridiculous but I’m a homebody anyway so makes no difference to me at this point lol

Ya people are taking over the face masks, hand sanitizers, toilet paper! People are taking so much cases of water that it’s now only 2 cases per person -.-

Oh yeah our stores are getting real bad. Especially with the TP I mean I know we might need to stay inside for 2 weeks, but you really dont need that much. 
Nothing about schools yet, but I knownits coming.

Yup and the boyfriend got laid off over it (he works in logistics so no shipments) and my school just suspend classes.
