I Can’t Kiss Him, What do I do?

So I’ll try to make this short and sweet. My boyfriend and I are supposed to have a little rendezvous tomorrow of the sexually inclined variety (not actual sex, just messing around) and I have something on my lip that may or may not be a cold sore. Out of concern of the possibility that it might be and I don’t want him to get it, I told him no kissing. How can I make our time together still feel intimate if we can’t kiss while we do things? I don’t want it to feel like we’re fuck buddies lol....
