i love it when my narcissistic father tells me that i don't have perspective yet and when i'm older i will understand how he was always right. but i actually forgive him over and over again for all the fucked up shut he does bc i do have perspective and i get that his life is fucked up and he is mentally not ok so it's not his fault. but when he calls me abusive and tells me that i'm "attacking" him when i'm simply stating all the fucked up things he did and then explaining how since i have perspective i was able to forgive him.
