My mom, dad & best friend are throwing me a baby shower on April 4th. I’m due with my first child (baby girl) June 1st. My husband & I live in North Eastern Pennsylvania, where there’s only about 47 cases so far, 3 of which are in our county. Since most of our family & friends live in NYC: Brooklyn, Staten Island or NJ, we’re having the baby shower in Staten Island. Staten Island currently has 5 cases. We all know it’s going to get worse before it gets better, so I’m thinking we should cancel the shower & maybe have a party for people to meet the baby once this all calms down and is over with. What would you do?
