We’ve been together for 15 years and married for 3 years. When we first got together he wasn’t such a huge hunter/fisherman. It eventually became a big hobby of his.

Most recent events:

He was planning a hunting weekend the weekend I was due with our first baby. It never happened because why water broke right before he left. He definitely continued hunting often those next few months.

My husband had had 2 major surgeries. Each surgery has required him to be off of work 2 + months. This last one I just feel so broken. I was going to the hospital, working and going between my moms & MILS to get my baby( they took care of him). When he got out of the hospital the very first thing he did was call his buddies to make plans to walk the fields looking for deer sheds (hunting thing). I was hurt. He didn’t want to spend time with me or our baby.

Here we are again.. we are baptizing our baby and he can’t do much because he he’s still recovering from his hand surgery. I cleaned the house, took care of the little one and getting things ready for this little gathering but he made plans to go fish.

It sounds silly to say I’d leave him over something like this but he’s so selfish. I’m really thinking about how the rest of my life would be with his addiction to his hobbies.
